A good night sleep

"Good morning, mom...is it morning yet?" That was at 6:30am. The room has these wonderful things called room darkening blinds, so the answer was "no, go back to sleep". Unfortunately the call of Camp Lazlow (sp?) on Cartoon Network was stronger than his desire to please mom.

So we are up after a good night sleep. I need to get the nurses to call maintenance because there is a squeak in Jon's bed that wakes me up when he rolls around. Fortunately he had a very restful night's sleep. I did too for the most part. The pull out couch is hard, which I actually like. We are going to take a walking tour of the area and maybe make it down to Hermann Park to see the ducks, play and get some exercise. We will let you know how it goes.
Jon: Hello, I slept good last night with Rita. I want to go on a walk today and go to the game room. I am going to do my Egypt homework today. (Rita is the bear in the picture. He got her from State Farm Insurance when we returned from Hurricane Rita. He has never been attached to a stuffed animal but for some reason, Rita is the one! I should forward this picture to my State Farm agent, huh?)

Glad you both had a good night's sleep! We already miss you at school! The kids all asked me to tell you hello!

Hope you have a great time at the park!

Love,
Ms. Layman
